EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a UX/UI Designer Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the design and improvement of the company’s digital interfaces and user experiences. You will hold a versatile position combining user experience, interface design, and product development, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a UX/UI Designer Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in designing intuitive, consistent, and user-centered digital interfaces.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • User research: analyze user needs, behaviors, and journeys to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • User flow design: contribute to structuring navigation paths and interactions across digital products.
  • Wireframing: create functional layouts to define the structure and organization of screens.
  • UI design: design detailed, consistent interfaces aligned with the company’s visual identity.
  • Prototyping: create interactive prototypes to visualize and test interactions before development.
  • Design system: contribute to creating, improving, and maintaining reusable design components.
  • Usability and accessibility: ensure interfaces are easy to use, readable, and accessible.
  • Iterations and feedback: present design proposals, gather feedback, and refine your work accordingly.
  • Visual identity: ensure interface designs remain consistent with brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • UX/UI monitoring: follow design trends, emerging practices, and developments in digital design.
  • Design asset management: organize and maintain design files, components, and resources in a structured way.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with product, development, and marketing teams to understand requirements and ensure project consistency.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving design methods and the tools used by the teams.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying UX/UI design, digital design, graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in user experience, interface design, and digital products.
  • You are proficient in Figma or an equivalent interface design tool.
  • You understand the fundamental principles of usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.
  • You are able to create wireframes, detailed mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • You understand the purpose and structure of a design system.
  • You have a strong visual sense and pay close attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ideally, you have a portfolio showcasing your projects and design process.
  • You are creative, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with product and technical teams.
  • You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
