Job Description

We are looking for an Intern who will work within the Group Property & Casualty Retail Insurance and Technical Control function. The job holder will be based in Trieste or Milan.

The role will support key initiatives within team through data analysis activities, including extracting and interpreting data from central platforms to monitor topline performance and understand trends across premium volumes, retention, new business, and portfolio mix.

A particular focus will be dedicated to the Motor and Non Motor Retailo business, with analyses addressing market trends and medium-term projections.

This work will help build a clear view of how the business segment may evolve and how Generali Group's positioning could develop relative to broader market dynamics.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Create reports and visual summaries to monitor topline dynamics and assess alignment with strategic plans;
  • Develop document to support discussion in GHO and with Countries to identify and develop business opportunities for Motor and Non Motor retail segments.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field (completed or currently ongoing);
  • Strong analytical mindset and basic understanding of the insurance industry;
  • Basic familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, PPT) is a plus Ability to work with databases;
  • Basic understanding of predictive/statistical models.
