EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Motion Designer Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the design and production of animated visual content for the company’s different communication channels. You will hold a versatile position combining graphic design, animation, and content creation, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Motion Designer Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in the creation and quality of our animated visual content.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Animation creation: design and produce 2D animations adapted to different communication needs.
Motion design: create animated graphic assets for social media, videos, presentations, and other digital materials.
Storyboarding: prepare visual scenarios and structure sequences before animation production.
Graphic design: create the visual elements required to produce animations.
Visual identity: apply brand guidelines and ensure consistency across animated content.
Content finalization: synchronize animations with sound, music, or voice-over and prepare the required delivery formats.
Content adaptation: adapt animations to different formats, platforms, and distribution channels.
Iterations and feedback: present creative proposals, gather feedback, and refine the work accordingly.
Asset management: organize and maintain source files, graphic elements, and production resources.
Creative monitoring: follow trends in motion design, animation, and content creation to generate new ideas.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with marketing, design, product, and sales teams to understand their needs.
Process optimization: contribute to improving creative workflows, tools, and project organization.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying motion design, graphic design, animation, visual communication, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in animation, visual creation, and digital content.
You are proficient in After Effects and understand the fundamental principles of animation.
You are comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite tools or equivalent creative software.
You are able to create storyboards and turn ideas into structured animated sequences.
You pay close attention to rhythm, transitions, composition, and the overall quality of animations.
Ideally, you have a portfolio or showreel showcasing your work.
You are creative, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
