We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Sustainability & Impact team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and data structuring aspects of our ESG data processes, working at the intersection of the Sustainability & Impact team and the Data & AI team. You will own the digitalization and technical dimensions of sustainability data collection and quality control, and contribute to the production of structured, high-quality analytical outputs that support regulatory filings, investment decisions, and LP communications. This is an analytical role involving a high level of collaboration, notably with the Investment and the Data & AI teams.
Key responsibilities
Data Infrastructure & Quality
- Source, evaluate, and maintain external ESG data sources; apply semantic and taxonomic standards to ensure cross-portfolio comparability.
- Own the digitalization of the annual ESG data collection campaign across 600+ portfolio companies, from workflow design to quality assurance.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies to improve source data quality, and ensure traceability, versioning, and accessibility of curated datasets.
Regulatory & Portfolio Analytics
- Produce regulatory analytics (SFDR PAI, EU Taxonomy, …) and maintain dashboards for investment teams, IR, regulators, and LPs.
- Conduct sector benchmarking, trend analysis, outlier detection, and impact scoring; prepare ESG content for due diligence and LP reporting.
- Progressively build predictive models to assess portfolio exposure to ESG and climate-related risks.
AI Integration
- Act as the team's AI power user: develop and maintain prompts, agents, and workflows for analytical and client-facing needs, including complex LP questionnaires.
- Identify, prioritize, and prototype AI use cases across ESG data processing, regulatory reporting, and impact analytics.
Research & Innovation Watch
- Monitor and synthesize developments in ESG data providers, regulatory standards, and AI tooling; assess implications for the team's frameworks and workflows.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in ESG or sustainability data analysis, ideally within asset management, private equity, or consulting for financial institutions.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (analytical querying).
- Strong command of at least one BI platform, Power BI or equivalent.
- Solid working knowledge of key ESG frameworks: SFDR, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol, TCFD/ISSB.
- Proven experience managing data collection across multiple entities, geographies, and varying levels of source quality.
- Experience in managing data quality and data access.
- Autonomous, structured, and comfortable working in a lean team.
- Fluent in French. Professional proficiency in English.
Valued experience
- Private equity or multi-asset fund environment.
- Familiarity with carbon accounting platforms.
- Exposure to extra-financial audit or DPEF processes.
- Understanding of CSRD double materiality assessments.
- Experience with Snowflake as an analytical user (via SQL and/or Python).
What we offer
- After a project phase to which you will contribute, you will have query access to cleaned, normalized, and structured data ready for analysis (silver data layer in the Data Platform), without the noise of raw ingestion or the rigidity of pre-built aggregates. This means you will explore, slice, and investigate at the granularity you need, not just consume predefined views.
- You will operate within a governed framework appropriate to a regulated financial institution, with role-based access controls and information barrier policies. The Data & AI team owns the platform, the pipelines, the data governance and the data architecture. You will own the analysis, the datasets (depending on the agreed data governance) and subject-matter expertise in the S&I data domain.
- A high-impact analytical role at the heart of one of Europe's most active investment platforms.
- Direct involvement in regulatory, investor, and board-level ESG reporting.
- Data complexity: a multi-strategy portfolio with diverse sectors, geographies, and asset types.
- A modern and evolving data & AI environment: Snowflake, Claude Enterprise, Gemini etc.
- A culture that treats data management as a competitive advantage.
