Amaris Consulting is looking for a Quality Process Engineer II to support manufacturing activities and quality system processes. In this contract position, you'll work on incoming inspections, nonconformance management, in-process and final inspections, CAPA activities, calibration, and preventive maintenance programs. You'll collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to address quality issues and maintain accurate records.

Your responsibilities

  • Conduct receiving and incoming inspections of materials, components, and products.
  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections as required.
  • Create, document, and manage Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Support investigations and follow-up activities related to Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Assist with root cause investigations and track corrective action implementation.
  • Review inspection results and quality records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Maintain calibration records, track due dates, and coordinate calibration activities.
  • Support the preventive maintenance program and its quality documentation.
  • Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain quality records in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in audits, inspection readiness activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify quality risks and trends, then escalate them to management.

Your profile

You have one of the following:
  • A Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience.
You should be comfortable working with inspection records, quality documentation, nonconformances, corrective actions, and manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with different teams are essential for the role.
