Description du poste :

Servier is a leading French pharmaceutical group is replacing its packaging item management system with a new global platform for artwork and labelling management (ePALMS). Its medicines go to more than 150 countries.

We're looking for an intern to work directly with the Data Migration & Governance Lead. You'll help design the target data model, prepare and run the migration, and build the governance rules the new system will run on. This is hands-on work on a live, regulated programme.

What you'll do

  • Map data and attributes from the legacy tool, SharePoint and shared drives to the target ePALMS data model
  • Profile, clean and consolidate legacy data: find duplicates, inconsistencies, obsolete items, correct links and find gaps
  • Build and maintain data loading templates, transformation rules and the mapping documentation
  • Help define naming conventions, data ownership (owners and stewards) and data quality rules
  • Track migration progress and data quality KPIs in dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
  • Take part in manual migration waves and the quality checks (reconciliation, sampling, SME validation)
  • Prepare workshop materials and record decisions in the decision log and the risk and gap register
  • Look at how ePALMS connects to the group's other systems: MDM,RIMS,SAP

What you'll learn

  • How a full migration runs in a GxP environment, from scoping to cut-over
  • How to set up data governance in practice, not just in theory
  • Pharma packaging and artwork processes, which few young professionals get to see
  • Working with business SMEs, IT and programme leadership in a global organisation

  • Comfortable with data modelling basics: entities, attributes, keys, reference data
  • Rigorous and detail-oriented. In a regulated environment, approximations aren't acceptable
  • Clear communicator, able to explain a data issue to a business audience
  • French and English (professional level)

Nice to have

  • Power BI, SQL or Python
  • Exposure to data governance frameworks
  • Knowledge of pharma, GxP or data integrity
