Within the P&C Facultative Reinsurance, Claims and Services unit, we are looking for a talented and proactive resource who will be in charge of:
- Concluding P&C facultative reinsurance contracts with Group Legal Entities and steering/supervising the conclusion of facultative reinsurance contracts between Group Legal Entities and third party reinsurers
- Managing payments of claims to Group Legal Entities and claims recoveries from retrocessionaire
- Providing first line legal support to Group Reinsurance and Group Legal Entities in concluding and managing reinsurance agreements (treaty and facultative, P&C and Life)
In particular, the successful candidate will provide first line legal support to Group Reinsurance and Group Legal Entities in concluding and managing reinsurance agreements (treaty and facultative, P&C and Life).
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Supporting in reviewing and drafting reinsurance contracts
- Drafting broker's engagement agreements, due diligence checks on service level agreements
- Managing portfolio transfers, run‐off and exit strategies
- Managing compliance activities
- Assisting with legal researches
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or Economics
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in insurance
- Experience with both Common law and Civil law jurisdictions
- Ability to develop and implement standard documentation
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Italian and English working proficiency
