EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Production & Post-production Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the production, coordination, and finalization of the company’s audiovisual content. You will hold a versatile position combining production, post-production, and project coordination, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Production & Post-production Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in managing audiovisual projects from preparation through final delivery.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Shoot preparation: contribute to the technical and logistical preparation of filming sessions.
  • Production coordination: plan project stages, resources, and the different contributors involved.
  • Filming: assist with or contribute to image and sound capture depending on project requirements.
  • Production tracking: monitor schedules, technical requirements, and project deadlines.
  • Post-production coordination: organize review stages and feedback rounds through final approval.
  • Video editing: review footage, assemble sequences, and finalize content according to the brief and deadlines.
  • Post-production: contribute to color grading, sound mixing, and graphic packaging.
  • Quality control: verify the technical, visual, and editorial quality of deliverables before publication.
  • Format adaptation: adapt content to different platforms, distribution channels, and required formats.
  • Media management: organize, classify, archive, and secure source files and different versions of deliverables.
  • Approval coordination: centralize stakeholder feedback and ensure that requested changes are properly implemented.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with marketing, design, and communication teams to ensure consistency across productions.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving production, post-production, and audiovisual project management workflows.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying audiovisual production, film, production, post-production, communication, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in video production, editing, and visual storytelling.
  • You are proficient in or familiar with major editing and post-production tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or equivalent software.
  • You are organized and comfortable managing schedules and coordinating several contributors.
  • You understand the different stages of audiovisual production, from filming through final delivery.
  • You are able to work from a brief and manage several production stages simultaneously.
  • You pay close attention to the technical and editorial quality of content.
  • You are rigorous, autonomous, dynamic, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
