Corporate Finance, Accounting & Controlling Intern.

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for motivated candidates to join its teams as a Corporate Finance, Accounting & Controlling Intern.

You will support financial monitoring and performance analysis across EIC activities. You will help prepare accounting data, reporting and budget variance analysis.

This internship is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

You will work in an international professional environment that values collaboration, initiative and learning through practical work. A supervisor will help you understand priorities and take on responsibilities as your skills develop.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting support: organize records and prepare information for accounting stakeholders.
• Reconciliation: check consistency between invoices, payments and tracking data.
• Reporting: prepare financial reports and update performance metrics.
• Budgeting: contribute to forecasts and spending analysis by activity.
• Management accounting: analyze differences between actual results and forecasts.
• Profitability: help analyze costs and margins with your supervisor.
• Processes: suggest improvements to approval workflows and data collection.
• Documentation: explain calculation methods and prepare materials for financial reviews.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• You are studying finance, accounting, management accounting or business.
• You understand accounting fundamentals and the main financial statements.
• You are comfortable with Excel and careful when reconciling data.
• You are rigorous, discreet and analytical.
• You are comfortable communicating in English. French is an asset for collaboration with French-speaking colleagues and audiences.
• You can work collaboratively, seek feedback and suggest practical improvements.
