As a Dissolution scientist You will join our pharmaceutical sciences team and play a key role in advancing dissolution science to support the development of innovative medicines for patients worldwide.
Your missions
- Design, plan, and execute dissolution testing to support drug development projects
- Develop and optimize biorelevant and QC dissolution methods
- Contribute to biopharmaceutical assessment strategies using in vitro data to predict in vivo exposure
- Support and implement laboratory automation initiatives
- Advance mechanistic understanding of in vitro dissolution processes
- Progress data modelling and analysis approaches, including statistical methods and DoE/MVA
- Participate in and represent the team in cross-functional meetings with global colleagues
- Write and review technical and scientific documentation
Your profile
- Experience in pharmaceutical sciences relevant to small molecule formulation development, analytical chemistry, compliance, and GMP
- Experience with dissolution testing (QC and/or biorelevant) and method development is a plus
- Experience in statistical or data modelling, DoE, or MVA is a plus
- Experience with laboratory automation or equipment qualification is a plus
- Academic background: PhD in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical, or Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant work experience
- English fluent. Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn the basics
- You demonstrate scientific curiosity, autonomy, proactivity, and creativity
- You demonstrate strong presentation skills in scientific meetings
- You demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in multidisciplinary teams and represent the department in cross-functional teams
