The research project SURGE: Anticipatory Narratives of Sea-Level Rise in Northern Europe (DFF Sapere Aude), is looking for a student assistant who will be able to support the research group with administrative and practical tasks.

The student will be employed at the Center for Social Data Science (SODAS) at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Work tasks

  • Assist with coordination of meetings in research group
  • Support researchers with planning and scheduling
  • Assist with the organization of events

Qualifications

  • Interest in project-based work and contributing to project activities
  • Motivation for collaborating with others on research-related tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • English and Danish language

Wage and working hours:

On average, you are expected to work 10-15 hours per week.

The period of employment begins 15th of October (or shortly thereafter).

The employment is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the General Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations - the State Sector (OAO-S General Collective Agreement), as well as the Organisation Agreement for Office Staff, Laboratory Technicians, and IT Employees (HK).

You will be employed as astudent assistant with an hourly wage of at least DKK 145.73 (rate effective from 1 August 2026). Your salary placement will be determined based on your seniority.
