As an IT Leadership Team (LT) Intern, you will support the IT leadership team in driving operational excellence, governance, and strategic initiatives across the IT organization. You will gain exposure to senior leadership topics, IT portfolio management, financial steering, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides a unique opportunity to understand how a global IT organization is managed and governed while actively contributing to key priorities and initiatives. 

Your Responsibilities:

Leadership Team Support 

  • Support preparation of IT LT meetings (agendas, materials, tracking of actions and decisions) 
  • Maintain and follow up on LT action items to ensure timely execution 
  • Assist in coordination across LT members and key stakeholders 

Governance & Reporting 

  • Support consolidation and preparation of IT performance reports (KPIs, dashboards, executive summaries) 
  • Assist in tracking of strategic initiatives and portfolio progress 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Excel, presentations) 

Project & Portfolio Management Support 

  • Support the IT project portfolio processes, including data maintenance and status tracking 
  • Assist in preparation of SteerCo materials and project overviews 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of portfolio governance processes 

Financial & Operational Support

  • Assist in IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities
  • Support preparation of financial summaries and variance analysis
  • Contribute to improving transparency of IT financials and resource planning 

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and support optimization of IT processes
  • Support documentation of standards, governance frameworks, and procedures
  • Assist in automation and simplification initiatives 

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT teams, Finance, Procurement, and other business functions
  • Support communication and alignment across internal stakeholders

 

Your Profile: 

  • Ongoing or recently completed degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner
  • Interest in IT management, governance, and operational processes
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The internship is a full-time position for at least 6 months (extension possible). The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.698,59 gross per month (x 14).
