Job Description

At Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), we are looking for a Communication Specialist to join our Central Team in Milan. The person will join a worldwide unit and will become part of a dynamic and international work environment, with a full-time fixed-term contract with a duration of 12 months.

As a Communication Specialist, the role will support the GC&C Communication team in the day-to-day implementation of internal, external and digital communication activities.

The role will focus mainly on communication-related tasks, including:
  • Support in management of content for internal communication platforms (e.g. intranet, internal newsletters, SharePoint)
  • Support in managing and maintaining the communication calendar and planning of recurring activities
  • Back-office support, including preparation, organization and archiving of communication materials and documentation
  • Management and maintenance of the SharePoint document repository, ensuring files are properly structured, updated and accessible
  • Support to LinkedIn communication activities, including scheduling support, coordination with internal stakeholders and basic performance tracking
  • Ad-hoc support on internal and digital communication projects within the GC&C Communication office


Collaborating within the GC&C Communication Team by:
  • supporting in internal communication initiatives, events and activities to promote corporate culture, values and people engagement
  • supporting the implementation of digital content strategy:
    • GC&C websites content updates and curation
    • GC&C LinkedIn strategy and content curation
  • supporting in the creation of editorial projects and corporate communication materials, guaranteeing consistency and uniqueness of messages and communication styles
  • support in other ad-hoc projects such as the intranet portal


Requirements

  • University or professional degree in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism, business administration or related areas
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving attitude
  • Precision and strong organizational skills
  • Will to innovate and find new solutions
  • Proven writing capabilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of communication and marketing concepts
  • Experience with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous project or internship experiences in a related field during university studies are a plus
  • Previous experience in a multi-cultural and international environment is a plus
