EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a People Operations Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to recruitment, candidate follow-up, and the improvement of the company’s HR operations. You will hold a versatile position combining human resources, administration, and process optimization, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a People Operations Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in strengthening HR processes and supporting candidates throughout their journey.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Candidate sourcing: identify and approach profiles matching the needs of our partner companies.
  • Candidate interviews: conduct interviews to better understand candidates’ backgrounds, skills, and professional goals.
  • HR processes: document, structure, and strengthen procedures covering the employee lifecycle.
  • HR tools: contribute to configuring, updating, and effectively using HRIS tools.
  • Request handling: process internal requests within defined deadlines and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Needs qualification: engage with partner companies to understand their expectations precisely.
  • Candidate support: follow candidates throughout the process, advise them, and prepare them for each stage.
  • Interview coordination: organize exchanges between candidates and partner companies and follow up until a decision is made.
  • Administrative management: prepare and track documents related to recruitment and onboarding.
  • HR data follow-up: help ensure that the information required for HR processes is accurate and up to date.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure high-quality follow-up.
  • Process optimization: contribute to improving workflows, ATS tools, and HR processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying human resources, occupational psychology, management, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in human resources, People Operations, and supporting people.
  • You are comfortable conducting interviews and supporting a wide variety of profiles.
  • You are methodical and enjoy structuring processes.
  • You are comfortable using digital tools and interested in HRIS solutions.
  • You are rigorous when managing data and internal requests.
  • You are able to manage several priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
  • You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
