As an Associate Scientist, you will play an essential role in providing analytical support for new molecular entities, including small molecules and new modalities (e.g., therapeutic peptides, conjugates, and oligonucleotides), from Phase 1 clinical development through registration.
Your Missions- Perform analyses in support of reference standard characterization, with a primary focus on liquid chromatography (LC), ion chromatography (IC), and gas chromatography (GC; headspace and liquid injection).
- Develop fit-for-purpose LC, IC, and/or GC methods to meet the required Low-Level Reporting Threshold (LLRT) for accurate purity determination.
- Perform analyses in support of product and process characterization, method development, validation, release, and stability, with a primary focus on liquid chromatography (LC).
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines, analytical methods and specifications, GMP requirements, and safety standards.
- Conduct scientific evaluations of the results generated.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant professional experience.
- General knowledge of cGMP regulations; practical experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with liquid chromatography (LC), ion chromatography (IC), and/or gas chromatography (GC).
- Knowledge of chromatography data systems (CDS), specifically Empower and/or OpenLab.
- Experience with, or willingness to develop expertise in, other analytical characterization techniques (e.g., water determination and titrations).
- High standards of quality, with strong accountability for experimental work and results.
- Efficient, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and urgent requests.
- Customer-focused and results-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English.
