EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Financial Analyst Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to financial monitoring, quantitative analysis, and management control for our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining finance, analysis, and reporting, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Financial Analyst Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in the financial monitoring and management of the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Financial monitoring: help track financial flows, budgets, and variances against forecasts.
Quantitative analysis: produce reliable analyses to support management decisions.
Performance analysis: analyze financial results and explain observed variances.
Financial modeling: build forecasting models and different business scenarios.
Recommendations: identify and propose opportunities to improve profitability.
Reporting: build and maintain clear, up-to-date financial dashboards.
Control and reliability: check financial data consistency and identify potential anomalies.
Forecasting: contribute to preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
Operational support: help teams understand and interpret their financial indicators.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the sales, administrative, and management teams.
Process optimization: contribute to automating financial reporting and improving tracking tools.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying finance, accounting, management, economics, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in numbers, financial analysis, and rigorous business management.
You are proficient in Excel and comfortable using management and reporting tools.
You are comfortable with financial modeling in Excel.
You can analyze financial results and identify the main drivers behind performance changes.
You have strong synthesis skills and can clearly communicate financial information.
You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the companies and assignments.
