EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Front-End Developer Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of the company’s web interfaces and applications. You will primarily work on user experience, interface integration, and the quality of front-end developments, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Front-End Developer Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in the development, quality, and evolution of our digital interfaces.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Feature development: design, develop, and integrate new features based on product and user needs.
Interface integration: turn mockups and prototypes into accurate, smooth, and responsive web interfaces.
Front-end development: contribute to the creation and evolution of the different interfaces used across applications.
User experience: help ensure the fluidity, performance, accessibility, and compatibility of interfaces.
API integration: connect interfaces to back-end services and ensure the proper flow of data within the application.
State management: contribute to managing application data and different client-side states.
Code quality: write clear, structured, maintainable code in accordance with development standards.
Bug fixing: identify, analyze, and resolve issues affecting user interfaces.
Testing and validation: test developed features to ensure their reliability before production release.
Code review: participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from the technical team.
Technical documentation: document developments and implemented components.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with product, design, back-end, and operations teams to ensure consistent deliverables.
Process optimization: contribute to improving development methods, tools, and technical processes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying computer science, web development, software engineering, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in front-end development, web interfaces, and user experience.
You are proficient in the fundamentals of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
You have knowledge or initial experience with at least one front-end framework such as React, Vue.js, or an equivalent technology.
You are comfortable with responsive design and web integration principles.
You understand how APIs work and how front-end and back-end systems interact.
You are comfortable using version control tools such as Git.
You are rigorous, autonomous, organized, and attentive to interface quality.
You are curious, proactive, and enjoy working as part of a team.
You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
