Your role 

Position Summary 

We are looking for a hands-on Junior Windchill Developer with strong motivation to learn and grow in a technical environment. This role supports the development, configuration, and maintenance of PTC Windchill solutions within an engineering context. 

The position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience interested in backend and web technologies, looking to build expertise in PLM systems. The developer will work under supervision, contributing to technical tasks while gaining practical experience. 

Location: Madrid or Seville

Key Responsibilities 

1. Functional & Technical Support (Level 2) 

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving basic Windchill issues under supervision. 
• Reproduce incidents, document findings, and collaborate with senior team members. 
• Provide basic support to end users. 

2. Windchill Configuration & Customization 

• Assist with basic configurations (object types, workflows, roles, UI). 
• Support minor customizations (simple rules, forms, OIR). 
• Help test and validate configuration changes while learning their impact. 

3. Incident, Request & Change Management 

• Assist in handling incidents and service requests using ticketing tools. 
• Update tickets, document progress, and escalate issues when needed. 
• Learn and follow change management processes. 

4. Testing & Validation 

• Support functional testing and execute predefined test cases. 
• Assist in validating configuration changes in test environments. 
• Document results and report issues. 

Your profile 

You are curious, structured and motivated to grow in a technical environment. You enjoy solving problems, learning from more experienced colleagues and contributing to solutions that support engineering teams.

Education & Background 

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, or Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar 
• 0–2 years of experience (internships included) 
• English: minimum B2 

Programming & Technical Skills (Mandatory) 

• Basic–intermediate knowledge of Java and JavaScript. 
• Understanding object-oriented programming and web development basics. 
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

Nice to Have 

• Basic knowledge of PLM/engineering processes and technologies such as JSP and XML/XSLT is desirable. 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools.
