ABOUT THE EUROPE & INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS UNIT AND ITS PROCUREMENT TEAM

The Europe & International Business Unit is Curium’s largest division, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Business Unit oversees sales, operations, partnerships, and development activities across Europe, the Middle East, and the Rest of the World (excluding North America).
The Procurement team supports the Business Unit’s direct and indirect production needs. It leads and contributes to a wide range of productivity and cost optimization initiatives across Europe and supports internal stakeholders across multiple procurement categories by structuring sourcing strategies and formalizing supplier relationships.
The team is led by a VP Global Procurement and includes 4–5 Directors and their teams. You will report to the Category Manager within the PET Europe Procurement team, under the responsibility of the Director of Procurement for PET Europe, in a fast-paced, international, and highly collaborative environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERN

As a full member of the PET Europe Procurement team, you will act as a Junior Category Buyer, supporting the team in a high-learning, operational environment.

Data Analysis – Cost Analysis & Optimization

Analyze spending by supplier and by country;
Consolidation and harmonization of data from Excel files across multiple markets (Spain, UK, France, Belgium, Nordics, Türkiye…);
Identify cost-saving, productivity, and optimization levers for our PET productions.

Supplier Management

Prepare monthly or quarterly supplier performance reviews[CD1] and assessments;
Build, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs);
Support the definition and follow-up of supplier improvement plans.

Productivity & Procurement Projects

Participate in the deployment and monitoring of productivity initiatives across Curium International;
Contribution to direct and indirect procurement tender projects (Security, Cleaning): Support the preparation and execution of tenders and RFQs;
Follow-up and tracking of productivity and cost optimization initiatives.

PREFERRED PROFILE

Top-tier engineering, business school or universities (e.g., HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC, EM Lyon, Ecole Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Mines, Ponts ParisTech, Dauphine, Sorbonne…)
Either with a specialization or first experience in procurement (second part of a gap year or a final-year internship)
Advanced Excel, data analysis, and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in French and English, an additional language is a plus
