YOUR ROLE

This Internship position is to embed into a Contract Logistics Area/ business line and the person will be closely working with the BPE and also the operations in that site. His/ her main activity will be working on process/ projects with the team to improve overall process improvements.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Doing and Motion Studies for the various operations

• Look for opportunities on how to improve the process, reduce waste and overall improve efficiency.

• Work with the BPE in facilitating trainings- for Process and Lean

• Work with the BPE to understand the current process and able to make small changes in the work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

• Work with the team in doing some process Audits and improve the Visual Aids there.

• Facilitate and drive implementation of various site’s Operations Excellence programs

Key Result Areas:

• Site productivity improvements

• Site improvements including cost saving & waste elimination.

• Process Documentations

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Undergraduate in Supply Chain and/or Engineering

• Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and tools

• Basic understanding of Supply Chain Management

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications - Outlook, Power Point, Excel & Word in particular - planning, organizing, and analytical skills.

• Ready to learn new tools and manage time properly.
