Private and Business Clients Segment

In the Private and Business Clients segment, we serve around 11 million private and business customers. Dedicated locations for business clients and affluent customers within our Wealth Management division complement our advisory offering.

Following the integration of comdirect, our private and business clients benefit from the services of one of Germany’s most modern online banks combined with personal, face-to-face advice.

We continue to develop this segment into an attractive combination of a high-performing direct bank and a premium advisory service. At around 400 locations across Germany, customers receive advice on topics such as accounts, cards, and personal loans, while also receiving support in using our digital services. Clients with more complex financial needs benefit from comprehensive personal advice and tailored solutions for wealth management and financing.

Our Advisory Center is a key component of our Private and Business Clients model. Located at twelve sites across Germany, it bridges the gap between our branches and our online and mobile banking services. Through our Advisory Center, we are available whenever and wherever our customers need us – independent of location and with maximum flexibility.

Corporate Clients Segment

Operating successfully and professionally in international financial markets is a demanding task. Commerzbank is the leading bank for the German Mittelstand and a strong partner to around 24,000 corporate client networks. The bank facilitates approximately 30% of Germany’s foreign trade and maintains a presence in corporate banking at more than 40 international locations.

Within the Corporate Clients segment, we continue our success story with Germany’s Mittelstand. Through a streamlined and digitalized product portfolio, we are increasingly focusing on customers with a connection to Germany. We continue to support international corporate clients that either have business ties to Germany or operate in selected future-oriented industries such as mobility, sustainability, communications, life sciences, and capital goods.

Our international network remains a key pillar of our strategy: we help German businesses expand globally and bring international business opportunities to Germany.

Group Services

Group Services provides the infrastructure and organizational foundation of Commerzbank. Our organizational, security, and transaction services form the backbone of the bank’s operations. You can choose the service unit in which you would like to complete your trainee program: Organization & Security, Operations, Delivery Center, IT. Each trainee program prepares you for a wide range of exciting career opportunities within the bank.

Group Management
