EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Corporate Real Estate Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to managing, analyzing, and optimizing the real estate portfolio of our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining real estate, financial analysis, and operational management, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Corporate Real Estate Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the company’s real estate portfolio.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Opportunity sourcing: identify sites, premises, and assets that meet defined criteria.
Deal analysis: assess the technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of opportunities.
Portfolio management: track leases, deadlines, and contractual obligations.
Space optimization: analyze occupancy and identify opportunities to improve space utilization.
Landlord relations: manage communication with landlords and property managers.
Market studies: analyze catchment areas, pricing, and local market dynamics.
Stakeholder relations: communicate with brokers, landlords, and service providers.
File preparation: prepare presentation materials for decision-makers.
Negotiation follow-up: support discussions through signature and track key deadlines.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams.
Process optimization: contribute to improving tracking tools and opportunity databases.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying real estate, finance, urban planning, business, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in real estate, market analysis, and negotiation.
You are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and contractual documents.
You are comfortable reading leases and managing contractual follow-up.
You can analyze the use of a real estate portfolio and identify opportunities for optimization.
You are rigorous, organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
You are dynamic, autonomous, and proactive.
You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the companies and assignments.
