What awaits you?
- You will support building and optimizing the simulation of an automated logistics system.
- Furthermore, you help to understand current manual logistics processes and gather relevant data.
- In addition, you assist in designing the automated logistics system.
- Moreover, you help to conduct site visits in the factory for data collection.
- Furthermore, you support extracting system KPIs and drawing conclusions for system design.
- In addition, you help to prepare presentations with insights from the simulation.
- Moreover, you help integrate feedback from the team into the simulation.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, operations research or a comparable science or engineering degree with relevant experience.
- Experience with supply chain or logistics simulation tools such as Plant Simulation or Visual Components.
- Very good Python skills; C++ knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to present actionable simulation results using MS PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to collaborate in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
- Good English skills; German language skills are a plus.
