We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our Supply Chain team in our office in Čestlice for a 12-month internship program.

This position requires on-site presence in our Čestlice office (Cummins Distribution Europe Cummins Czech Republic s.r.o. Obchodní 110 251 70 Čestlice)

during the first 3–4 months to ensure proper onboarding and training. After this period, a hybrid working model will apply (60% office / 40% remote work).

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must maintain an active student status throughout the entire internship period.

We strongly prefer candidates who are available to work full-time (40 hours per week).

Fluency in Czech is required for this role.

*Qualifications and Competencies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the acceptance of finished Wholegoods sets from suppliers, including readiness and collection dates. 
  • Maintain daily communication with suppliers to confirm production status and resolve missing information. 
  • Update and manage order data in Movex/SAP, including delivery dates, serial numbers, and logistics details. 
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of supplier documentation (test reports, photos, packing lists). 
  • Monitor order progress, escalate delays, and support the COM WG representative , and Sales Managers
  • Support logistics activities by validating shipping data and coordinating with warehouse and transport teams. 
  • Prepare operational reports and ensure data accuracy in line with ISO 9001 quality standards. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and work standard documentation

To be successful in this role: 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn operational and supply chain processes.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • English language proficiency (minimum B1/B2 level).
  • Fluency in Czech.
  • Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook).
  • ERP experience (SAP/Movex) is an advantage but not required.
