About the departmentFranklin Templeton’s Madrid office has supported our local and regional growth in the region for 25 years. This internship sits within the Sales and Marketing teams, which work closely together to strengthen client relationships, support business development, and deliver brand campaigns. Interns collaborate daily with experienced professionals and gain exposure to real projects, global stakeholders, and industry expertise, offering meaningful professional and personal development.
We have two internship positions with an initial duration of 12 months on a half day contract. We are looking for someone who can commit for this period and who ideally has the possibility to extend the internship for a further 12 months. Candidates must be enrolled as a student at a university in Spain for the entire duration of the internship.
How you will add value- Support business development activities for existing clients.
- Prepare presentations and sales materials.
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the organisation of external events.
- Support Sales and Marketing initiatives, including anniversary events and campaigns.
What will help you be successful in this roleExperience
• Interest in financial services, ideally with some prior exposure to the sector
• Currently studying a finance-related degree for the next two years (Graduation date must be 2028 or later)
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Soft Skills
• Fluent Spanish and effective English communication, written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Work Schedule & Location
4 hours per day (20 hours per week) based in our Madrid office.
