Job Description

Within GOSP - Generali Operations Service Platform we are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Junior Specialist, who will join Financial Reporting & Accounting Unit.

This unit manages the financial statement of GOSP and GCT, reporting it to CFO, CEO, auditors, BoSA and BoD. We also manage the periodic reporting package to Group Finance, assessing the data quality and mitigating the financial reporting risk. We coordinate the local accounting operations of all the 7 branches of GOSP, account payables and account receivables, defining processes, policies and leading automation initiatives. We are an international team spread in 5 cities and 3 Countries, but we work altogether towards the same targets with the same values.

Since the first days joining the team, you will be inserted into hands-on accounting operations, receiving support from your senior Colleagues, on the job training and formal training. You will be exposed progressively to more complex tasks as soon as your increasing understanding of your first tasks allows you to streamline their management, also with robotic help.

Main Tasks:
  • Coordinator of local procurement and back-office services
  • Account payables operations, in compliance with GOSP/GCT policies, and IFRS regulation
  • Asset accounting
  • Correct maintenance and update of mandatory tax registers (VAT register, Asset register)
  • Treasury support: management of payment requests and cash collection
  • Tax support: collect and provide evidence and analysis for the tax consultant


Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Economic degreee
  • B2 English, spoken and written
  • C1 Italian, spoken and written
  • ERP experience, ideally in SAP and Tagetik
  • Good command of Microsoft Excel
