Tasks
As an M&A Intern, you'll play a vital role in managing and shaping our projects. You'll collaborate with various departments and external partners to drive successful transactions.
- Gain practical experience by contributing to assigned M&A projects, including due diligence processes, while collaborating with multiple departments and external service providers
- Support and participate in contract negotiations with transaction partners
- Monitor competitor M&A activities on an ongoing basis and build relationships with relevant transaction partners and service providers
- Prepare briefing documents and decision-making materials for stakeholders through targeted and effective presentations
- Conduct company valuations and develop business cases, providing recommendations for the executive board and supporting transaction strategy and structuring activities

Requirements
We seek candidates with strong academic backgrounds and relevant professional experience. Ideal applicants are skilled in complex problem-solving, and financial methods.
- You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
- Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year) in Finance, Strategy or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and process reliability
- Proficiency in German and English
- Ability to work precisely
- Outstanding PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong initiative and independence
- Specialized knowledge in financial methods and project experience is beneficial
- Ideally, initial experience in a leading investment bank or consultancy
