Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Expert with strong experience in Private Equity (PE) and/or Investment Banking (IB). The role focuses on applying advanced financial knowledge to analyze, evaluate, and improve financial content, models, and strategic insights. You will work on high-level financial materials and contribute your expertise to ensure accuracy, rigor, and alignment with industry standards. A small portion of the role involves supporting the improvement of analytical systems through structured feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level analysis and insights on financial topics, with a strong focus on Private Equity and Investment Banking.
- Review and refine financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comparables), and investment materials to ensure precision and relevance.
- Evaluate financial reports, pitch decks, and strategic documents for consistency, clarity, and professional standards.
- Apply industry best practices in financial modeling, deal structuring, and investment analysis.
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly, both in writing and verbally, to diverse stakeholders.
- Monitor and integrate current market trends, transactions, and regulatory developments in PE and IB.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to improve the quality and reliability of financial analyses and outputs.
- Contribute occasionally to the evaluation of generated financial content to ensure it meets professional and technical expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong professional experience in finance, ideally within Private Equity, Investment Banking, or related fields.
- Advanced mastery of financial modeling, valuation techniques (LBO, DCF, trading comps), and deal analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- High analytical rigor, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Proven experience working with financial documents such as investment memos, pitch books, or transaction reports.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities effectively.
- Strong professional ethics and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Prior exposure to analytical systems, data review, or structured evaluation processes (including AI-related workflows) is a plus.
