This NGO internship in Argentina gives students the opportunity to work with local and international organisations committed to women's empowerment and community development. Divided between a local association and an international NGO, this internship provides insight into the challenges of social development while allowing interns to contribute to high-impact projects within local communities.

Within the local association, interns participate in integration and empowerment workshops for young women, while at the international NGO, they contribute to research, communications, fundraising, and partnership management projects.

Your Missions

  • Participate in empowerment and social integration workshops for women, including handicrafts, textiles, recycling, and other activities.
  • Support beneficiaries in developing their skills and assist with the organisation of community and fundraising events.
  • Contribute to fundraising initiatives involving international partners and donors.
  • Conduct research and analysis on development, gender equality, and international cooperation.
  • Participate in the organisation of meetings, conferences, workshops, and events.
  • Create communication materials and manage the NGO's social media channels.
  • Write reports, briefing notes, and presentations for teams and partners.

This internship takes place in a Spanish-speaking and international environment and is available for a minimum of 12 weeks, between March and mid-December. Online Spanish classes are available to help you integrate and communicate more easily with local teams.

Profile

This experience is particularly suitable for students in international relations, political science, international development, communications, social sciences, project management, or humanitarian studies who are looking to gain hands-on field experience while contributing to projects that promote women's empowerment and sustainable development.

Additional Information

This internship is unpaid. In the vast majority of countries, there is no legal requirement to provide financial compensation to interns. Our partner host organisations operate within different local economic and legal frameworks, where hosting international interns is based on training and cultural exchange rather than remuneration.

Accommodation, meals, and transportation costs are paid before your departure. This advance payment allows RealStep to confirm and secure all your accommodation and local services with our partners before your arrival, ensuring that all logistics are already in place before you leave.
