About the role

As the RTR Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end Record-to-Report (RTR) process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. You will contribute across key RTR activities, including journal processing, reconciliations, fixed assets, lease accounting, inventory accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting, while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.

The role requires working with ERP and reporting tools to ensure data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and drive standardisation and automation across processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Controllership teams to ensure seamless financial operations and high-quality outputs.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end RTR activities, including journal posting, accruals, inventory accounting, and adjustments in line with accounting policies
  • Execute balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances, ensuring timely resolution and clear documentation
  • Support period-end close activities, including preparation of schedules, monitoring timelines, and ensuring adherence to close calendars
  • Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate financial reporting across entities
  • Prepare and maintain audit-ready workpapers and documentation to support internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury, AP, AR) to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
  • Investigate and resolve transaction-level discrepancies and open items across accounts and subledgers
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to process improvement, standardisation, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort
  • Support data quality and governance activities, including master data accuracy and reporting consistency

The experience we're looking for

  • Experience in financial accounting, RTR, or finance operations, ideally within a shared services environment
  • Working knowledge of RTR processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and period-end close activities
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Blackline) and reconciliation tools, with strong Excel capabilities
  • Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and financial governance standards
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a structured environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively document processes and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation
  • Fluent English is a must & knowledge of other European language would be a big advantage (especially French, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch)
