We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to take a key technical role in the development of embedded control software for inverter-based systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
You will join a highly skilled and qualified engineering team that values deep technical expertise, openness, and close collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Take a leading role in defining and implementing embedded software solutions for inverter-based control systems.
- Collaborate closely with application, hardware, and system teams to understand complex technical requirements and operational constraints.
- Translate application-level requirements into software architectures, models, and high-quality embedded implementations.
- Design, implement, optimize, and maintain embedded software with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute across the full product lifecycle: concept development, architecture definition, implementation, testing, validation, and long-term maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement of software design methods, tools, and coding standards.
- Engage in technical sparring and knowledge sharing within a highly skilled and collaborative embedded software team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and support system-level integration and verification activities.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Several years of hands-on experience developing embedded software for industrial, control, or power-electronics-based systems.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, including work in real-time and resource-constrained environments.
- Experience with inverter systems, motor control, or power electronics is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of embedded software architecture and system-level design.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into robust and maintainable software solutions.
- Experience with Python and/or C# for development tools, testing frameworks, or system support is an advantage.
- Comfortable taking technical ownership and contributing to architectural and design decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
- Proficient in written and spoken Danish and English.
