How you’ll make an impact 

  • Drive digital transformation: You lead end-to-end transformation initiatives across manufacturing networks, translating strategy into actionable, value-driven roadmaps.
  • Design and optimize factories: You develop greenfield factory concepts and transform existing sites using digital, lean, and automation approaches.
  • Improve operational performance: You enhance cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability through lean methods, data analytics, and industrial AI.
  • Develop smart manufacturing solutions: You define operating models, processes, and IT/OT architectures, and implement technologies such as IIoT, MES/MOM, and robotics.
  • Deliver projects and manage stakeholders: You lead workstreams, collaborate in international teams, and align stakeholders from shopfloor to executive level.
  • Enable transformation and capability building: You support organizational change, upskill teams, and promote data-driven ways of working.
  • Support growth and innovation: You contribute to business development, thought leadership, and internal innovation initiatives.
  • Your defining qualities

Experience & expertise:

  • You hold an outstanding academic background (Master’s/PhD or equivalent) and have initial professional experience in the field of Industrial Engineering.
  • You have 2–4 years of experience in consulting or manufacturing, with a strong background in production systems and exposure to lean, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • You have strong background in manufacturing, production systems, or Industrial Engineering as well as exposure to lean, automation, digitalization, or smart factory initiatives.
  • Ideally you own first hands-on experience in factory transformation (greenfield or brownfield) and exposure to industrial AI, advanced analytics, or digital twins.
  • You have experience in multi-plant or production network optimization Digital & technical skills:
  • You have understanding of Industry 4.0 / smart manufacturing concepts.
  • You have first experience with manufacturing IT/OT (e.g., MES/MOM, IIoT, data platforms) and/or automation & robotics.
  • You show a strong interest in industrial AI and data-driven optimization use cases.
  • Consulting & problem-solving: You bring strong analytical and structuring skills and can translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable recommendations, combined with a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Collaboration & leadership: You communicate effectively, have stakeholder management experience, and collaborate well in international, cross-functional teams, demonstrating high ownership and adaptability.
  • Additional requirements: You are fluent in English, and are willing to travel internationally; German language skills are a plus.
