1. You only live for the weekend
Are you just dragging yourself from one weekend to the next and your life only truly begins when you shut down your laptop on a Friday evening? Is Sunday evening the worst time of the week second only to Monday morning because you spend it struggling with negative thoughts about work the next day?
Sound like you? Then something is definitely not working in your job! At the end of a long week of work, everyone looks forward to having a break at the weekend, but if you are only ever happy at the weekend, then you should seriously consider changing jobs.
2. You can't get out of bed in the morning
When your alarm goes off, are you instantly in a terrible mood and you just want to throw it out the window? You can feel like this from time and again, even when you actually like your job.
But if you start to notice that getting up every day becomes a nightmare and you perhaps more often toy with the idea of calling in sick, then you should seriously ask yourself why you have so little desire to work. Maybe a new job will help improve your mood!
3. You feel like you are serving time
You are looking forward to the evening even at breakfast and celebrate half time during lunch. You are always looking at the clock and can hardly wait for the end of the day. You put little effort into your job, you don't want to get stuck in and you just do the bare minimum.
If this sounds familiar, then you are definitely dissatisfied in your job and should urgently think about a new one! Who would want to do something which makes them unhappy for such a long period.
4. Your work is making you ill
Constantly stressed, under psychological pressure, overworked: if your job no longer makes you feel well physically or mentally, then it's a clear warning sign that you should start thinking about a change. At the end of the day, no job in the world is more important than your health.
Do you often feel tired, drained and lack motivation because you are completely exhausted by work? Then ask yourself this question, how much stress can you, or do you want to deal with going forward. If the pressure at work is too much, then you are in all likelihood in the wrong job.

6. Things are difficult with your colleagues
Normally you get on quite well with people in a group, but it is different in this job. The atmosphere amongst colleagues is strained, you do not feel happy or appreciated You might even feel like they are talking about you behind your back and so you can no longer work well together with them.
A negative work environment can make your everyday a real hell and of course it has a very detrimental impact on your performance in the long run. So you should by no means just accept feeling frustrated in your job . Have that conversation, ask for help and, if that changes nothing in your situation, then it is the right time to quit your job.
7. You are at a dead end
Do you feel that you have no opportunities to develop in your current job? Perhaps you have lots of good ideas but your suggestions are not taken seriouslyor just dismissed outright.
If you want to make a difference in your job or strive for that next step on the career ladder, but your boss won't support you, then the signs are clear: it's time for a change. Do a U-turn and find a way out of that dead end.
8. You've imagined quitting many times
Just like a Hollywood film with you in the leading role, you've gone over handing in your notice many times in your head. You've thought through your resignation, how you'll tell your boss and then say goodbye to colleagues – and it felt really damn good, like the right thing for you.
What could make it any clearer? Overcome your fear of a new start – you won't regret it.
9. Your salary is just compensation
