Our team at the BMW Group evaluates next generation battery cell technology and subcomponents for automotive use. We bring together cross-disciplinary experts who develop innovative software solutions using agile methodologies and state-of-the-art full stack development.

What awaits you?
  • You will support the team in an agile development environment utilizing state-of-the-art methodologies.
  • Furthermore, you help to sketch concepts and ideas for frontend, backend and SQL database development and evaluate solutions.
  • In addition, you contribute to implementing and testing software solutions based on practical cases.
  • Moreover, you assist in developing concepts for GUIs and templates to support the usage of implemented software solutions.
  • You will also help to test the performance of implemented software solutions.
  • Additionally, you receive regular feedback from your mentor while independently processing tasks.

What should you bring along?
  • Studies in information technology, web engineering, computer science or related fields (Master level).
  • Extensive experience as Full Stack Developer and in web design with React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, TypeORM and other web programming languages and frameworks.
  • Very good knowledge of databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Good experience with development environments such as Confluence, Jira and BitBucket.
  • Experience in API documentation tools such as Swagger or Postman is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft PowerApps to link it with web-based applications is a plus.
  • Business-fluent English.
