EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Product Owner / Tech Project Manager Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to defining, prioritizing, and monitoring the company’s product and technical projects. You will hold a versatile position combining product management, technology, and project management, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Product Owner / Tech Project Manager Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in defining, managing, and monitoring our digital projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Requirements gathering: understand the expectations of users and stakeholders and translate them into clear product requirements.
Writing specifications: prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation required by technical teams.
Product vision: contribute to defining the product roadmap, objectives, and priorities.
Business / technical coordination: act as a link between business needs and technical teams to facilitate understanding and implementation.
Backlog prioritization: organize and prioritize features and tasks according to business value, technical constraints, and deadlines.
Project tracking: plan project stages, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or blockers.
Delivery tracking: ensure that scope, deadlines, and expected quality standards are met.
Agile ceremonies: prepare and participate in team meetings, progress reviews, product reviews, and retrospectives.
Testing and validation: test developed features and verify that they meet defined requirements before production release.
Product documentation: maintain clear and structured documentation on features, decisions, and product developments.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with technical, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure project consistency.
Process optimization: contribute to improving working methods, project management tools, and development tracking.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying project management, computer science, business, management, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in product management, technology, and digital projects.
You are comfortable with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Notion, Trello, or equivalent platforms.
You are able to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable information for technical teams.
You can prioritize competing requests while considering business value, technical constraints, and deadlines.
You are organized, rigorous, and able to manage several topics simultaneously.
You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable solving problems.
You are autonomous, dynamic, and proactive.
You have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams.
You are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
