MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Clamart site, we develop, manufacture, and provide after-sales service for oil exploration and well testing equipment used worldwide. SLB is now looking for a Mechanical Manufacturing Apprentice.

The missions will be:

• Accelerate the STD14 (Design and Pressure Rating Standard for Pressure-Containing and Pressure-Control Equipment) compliance of our test equipment, including a significant portion of the study and simulations.

• Conduct detailed analyses and simulations to ensure equipment meets design requirements.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement design improvements.

• Assist in the creation and modification of mechanical designs to enhance performance and reliability.

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

• Support the development and testing of new manufacturing processes.

• Document findings and progress in compliance reports and technical documentation.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

• Deliver material (documentation, risk analysis, simulation, and plan) regarding pressure tests and measurements (setups) for manufacturing used to deliver key assemblies or sub-assemblies.

PROFILES AND SKILLS

Desired profile: Bac +4/5 in Mechanical Engineering.

To fulfill these missions, the sought-after skills are:

1. Technical skills:

o Mechanical Engineering

o FEA/Modeling simulation (ANSYS)

o Knowledge of pressure environment scope

o Digital is a nice to have

2. Practical skills:

o Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools

o Experience with compliance standards and quality assurance processes

o Ability to conduct risk analysis and develop documentation

3. Other skills:

o Autonomous and proactive

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
