Position Overview

As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supply stability, and operational efficiency. You will act as a key interface between sales, planning, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels while supporting business growth.

Your Missions

  • Demand Forecasting & Collection: Regularly communicate with various sales channels to collect market demand, promotion plans, and sales forecasts. Perform rolling demand forecasts based on historical sales data, market trends, and channel feedback; regularly review forecast accuracy, analyze deviation causes, and optimize forecasting models accordingly.
  • Safety Stock Management: Define and adjust safety stock levels based on sales fluctuations, supplier lead times, and market demand changes to control inventory risks while ensuring supply.
  • Order Execution : Develop reasonable procurement plans based on inventory levels and forecast data, and timely place purchase orders to avoid stockouts and overstocking. Closely communicate with the planning department to ensure timely delivery of important orders. Align supply plans with delivery schedules, promptly feedback demand changes, and coordinate to resolve supply bottleneck issues.
  • Obsolete Statistics: Regularly review inventory structure, compile statistics on slow-moving, obsolete, and defective stock.
  • Warehouse Operations Optimization: Optimize bin location layout based on product outbound frequency to reduce warehouse operating costs and improve warehouse space utilization.
  • Sample Management: Manage sample orders, responsible for the requisition, return, transfer, and inventory of samples, ensuring clear traceability of sample assets. Prepare demonstration samples in advance according to the exhibition and roadshow needs and lead the return process.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis : Regularly produce various inventory management reports. Monitor and analyze risk orders.

Your Profile

  • Language Skills: Chinese is a plus.
  • Data Sensitivity: Proficient in Excel; experience with BI tools is a plus. Able to identify anomalies through data and drive decision-making.
  • Communication & Coordination: Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating multiple resources such as sales channels, manufacturing planning, and logistics to resolve conflicts.
  • Detail-oriented: Responsible with data, possessing a strong sense of accountability, and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Logical Thinking: Possesses the ability to review and reflect, capable of extracting patterns from complex daily tasks and continuously optimizing processes.
