Department details (workforce, scope, environment, etc.):

The Commercial Studies Department in Logistic comprises five people and acts as a strategic technical-commercial bridge that analyzes potential clients' tender data to design, cost, and simulate highly efficient warehouse and distribution solutions, ensuring competitive and viable proposals that drive new business acquisition and guarantee seamless operational handovers.

Description of the mission (main duties, contacts, etc.):

Main Mission: To analyze potential clients' operational data and design competitive, profitable, and viable warehouse/distribution solutions to win new business.

  • Analyze data and documentation from files received in potential clients' tenders, identifying incomplete information and requesting additional details (Q&A).
  • Design operational solutions based on the analysis of workflows, productivity, and costs, including feasibility studies of potential automated and innovative solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals tailored to client requirements, based on calculations from pricing tools (CPQ), and validate them with the relevant functional areas (IT, Operations, Sales, etc.).
  • Lead or support, depending on the specific need, the presentation of the technical aspects of the proposal to the new client, validating the presentation with the sales team.
  • Review and optimize the technical-commercial solutions proposed to the client according to the tender rounds; once won, draft a summary to enable the project team to execute and implement it.
  • Evaluate the company's operational processes and transform them into functional simulation models to identify productivity improvements, and present these models to the client to help them visualize how the operations will run beforehand (using FlexSim).


Required Profile (diploma, past experience, languages, minimum experience required, technical and soft skills, etc.)

Diploma: in Industrial Engineering or similar studies with a Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management.

Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in similar domain

Expert-level in Office Suites and Data Looker Studio (or similar tools).

Expert-level in project implementation and management.

Soft Skills: Leadership, communication skills, ability to synthesize information

Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English
