Banking hasn't changed much in decades. We're changing that. One product at a time.

Lunar is a Nordic challenger bank building the future of financial life with AI at the core. Our engineers, designers, and product people work on problems that actually matter. Making money simpler, smarter, and more rewarding for a million of registered users across the Nordics.

Fully licensed and founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm.

We move fast, we build with purpose, and we're just getting started.

As our new FCP Quality Controller you'll join the Financial Crime Prevention team based in Copenhagen, working to keep Lunar's customer journey compliant, trusted, and built to last.

What will you do?
  • Quality-control screening tasks across PEP checks, sanctions, and AMS alerts - catching what others miss and ensuring every case is handled to the right standard.
  • Lead the execution of internal controls, conclude on findings, and drive the necessary remedial actions in close collaboration with the team.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures that keep our compliance processes robust, scalable, and audit-ready.
  • Design and deliver training sessions across the organisation to raise the bar on financial crime prevention and embed a strong compliance culture.
  • Challenge and improve our internal control processes - making them more data-driven, efficient, and fit for where Lunar is going.

What are we looking for in you?
  • Solid experience within Financial Crime Prevention and a strong working knowledge of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Act.
  • Hands-on experience with first-line controls and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable SOPs.
  • A naturally analytical mindset - you enjoy getting to the bottom of complex cases and don't stop until the quality is right.
  • Professional proficiency in both Danish and English. Swedish or Norwegian is a plus.

What you get
  • 4 days in the office. We're a team that builds together, thinks together, and moves together. Showing up is part of how we work.
  • State of the art equipment. The newest computer, monitor, mouse, and keyboard. We want you to do your best work without anything slowing you down.
  • Pension, health insurance, and enhanced parental leave. From your financial future to your family moments. We've got you covered.
