EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Workplace Strategy Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to analyzing, optimizing, and evolving the workspaces of our partner companies.

You will hold a versatile position combining real estate, space planning, and employee experience, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Workplace Strategy Intern at EIC, you will help adapt professional environments to employee needs and evolving ways of working.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Opportunity sourcing: identify sites, premises, and assets that meet defined criteria.
File analysis: assess the technical, commercial, and financial feasibility of opportunities.
Usage analysis: study how workspaces are actually used and identify employee needs.
Space planning: propose layouts and configurations adapted to different ways of working.
Space optimization: identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of workspaces.
Change support: prepare communication related to workspace transformations and changes.
Market studies: analyze catchment areas, pricing, and local market dynamics.
Stakeholder relations: communicate with brokers, landlords, and service providers.
File preparation: prepare presentation materials for decision-makers.
Negotiation follow-up: support discussions through signature and track key deadlines.
Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams.
Process optimization: contribute to improving tracking tools and opportunity databases.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

You are currently studying real estate, urban planning, business, finance, or a related field.
You have a genuine interest in workspace design, new ways of working, and employee experience.
You are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and contractual documents.
You have strong analytical skills and can understand how professional environments are used.
You can formulate clear and structured space planning recommendations.
You are dynamic, autonomous, organized, and proactive.
You are comfortable using office and collaborative tools.
You have strong interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team in an international environment.
A good level of English may be required depending on the companies and assignments.
