Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Group Strategic Legal Affairs team.
The role will primarily focus on supporting the Group's financing and capital markets activities, including debt and equity capital markets transactions, intragroup financing arrangements, treasury-related projects and alternative risk transfer/reinsurance structures (including insurance-linked securities).
The successful candidate will be expected to provide legal support across the full lifecycle of complex transactions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, financial institutions, arrangers and other advisors in a fast-paced international environment.
Exposure to M&A transactions, bancassurance initiatives and strategic partnership projects may also form part of the role so previous experience in M&A transactions would be a plus.
Given the seniority of the position, the successful candidate will be expected to manage projects with a significant degree of autonomy, coordinate multiple workstreams simultaneously and provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice on strategically relevant matters.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in Law and qualification to practice law;
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience gained in leading international law firms and/or multinational financial institutions;
- Solid experience in financing transactions, debt capital markets and other strategic corporate transactions;
- Proven ability to independently draft, review and negotiate complex transaction documentation;
- Strong project management skills and experience interacting with senior stakeholders in international environments;
- Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
