Philosophy Teaching Intern — Critical Thinking for Youth | Tanzania (On-site, Erasmus+)

Type: Teaching internship / volunteer placement

Location: Schools and community settings around Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Duration: Flexible, year-round · 6–8 hrs/day, Monday–Friday

About the role

Join an award-winning program and pioneer philosophical inquiry with Tanzanian youth — building critical thinking from the ground up across epistemology, ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of education and African philosophy.

What you'll do

  • Epistemology: knowledge, evidence and critical thinking
  • Ethics: right, wrong and moral disagreement
  • Metaphysics: consciousness, identity and freedom
  • Teach philosophy of education and knowledge systems
  • African philosophy: Ubuntu and communal ethics
