EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is looking for new talent to join its teams as a Data Analyst Intern.

In this role, you will actively contribute to the collection, analysis, and use of company data. You will hold a versatile position combining data analysis, reporting, and decision support, with real responsibilities from the start of your internship.

The experience takes place in Canada, in our Montreal, Toronto, or Vancouver offices. You will discover a dynamic North American professional environment where efficiency, collaboration, autonomy, and initiative are central.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Data Analyst Intern at EIC, you will play a key role in leveraging data and supporting teams in their decision-making processes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Data collection and preparation: extract, clean, structure, and consolidate data from different sources.
  • Data analysis: produce reliable analyses to understand performance, trends, and changes in business activity.
  • Dashboard creation: design and maintain dashboards adapted to the needs of different teams.
  • Performance analysis: measure and monitor sales, marketing, and operational results.
  • Database querying: use SQL to extract and analyze the information required by the teams.
  • Reporting: produce clear, relevant, and actionable reports and performance indicators.
  • Data quality: monitor data consistency and reliability and identify potential anomalies.
  • Presentation of results: communicate analyses clearly and effectively to the relevant teams.
  • KPI monitoring: contribute to defining and tracking key performance indicators used to measure business performance.
  • Market watch and benchmarking: monitor tools, methods, and best practices related to data analysis and visualization.
  • Collaboration with EIC teams: work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to address their analytical needs.
  • Process optimization: contribute to automating reporting processes and improving tracking tools.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • You are currently studying data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
  • You have a genuine interest in data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • You are comfortable using Excel and data analysis tools.
  • You are proficient in SQL and able to query databases.
  • You have knowledge of at least one data visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or an equivalent solution.
  • You are able to analyze data and extract relevant insights for business teams.
  • You are rigorous, organized, and attentive to data quality and reliability.
  • You are autonomous, dynamic, and proactive.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to present your analyses clearly.
  • You enjoy working as part of a team and are interested in developing your skills in an international and multicultural environment.
  • A good level of English may be required depending on the position and responsibilities.
