What you'll do

You will contribute to the development, assembly, and installation of RF components for the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) galleries, working closely with a multidisciplinary mechanical team. You will be fully integrated into the R&D team, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and students on innovative projects aimed at improving the performance of existing accelerators and contributing to the development of future high-energy machines. The teams laboratories employ a broad range of advanced technologies, providing valuable exposure to cutting-edge engineering and scientific practices.

Your responsibilities
  • Design mechanical components and assemblies using CATIA (2D and 3D CAD).
  • Support the full project lifecycle.
  • Design and documentation.
  • Procurement of parts and materials.
  • Project tracking and coordination.
  • Preparation and packaging of equipment.
  • Installation and commissioning on site.

Your profile
  • Experience or a strong background in mechanical design.
  • Experience using 2D/3D CAD software, preferably CATIA.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings, project follow-up, and mechanical assembly activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in an industrial, laboratory, or research environment is considered an asset.
  • Your studies focused on Mechanical Engineering.

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working within multidisciplinary and international teams.
