Fun fact

It has been illegal to keep a single guinea pig as a pet in Switzerland since 2008. They’re very social animals, don’t you know – much happier when living as part of a herd. Swiss lawmakers therefore see keeping just one guinea pig as cruelty. And fines can reach up to 10,000 francs... definitely something to think about!
