Fun fact

Unlike fossil fuels, renewable energy sources other than biomass (i.e. hydroelectric, wind and solar power) don’t directly emit greenhouse gases. Wind power is the biggest source of renewable energy in the UK. There are almost 11,000 wind turbines on land and at sea, producing up to 66 million MWh of electricity annually. That’s equivalent to supplying more than 18 million households!
