Fun fact

In France, there are more female students than male. And yet in 2020, just 40% of the 48,000 research professors working at French universities were women! And female representation decreases as the level of prestige goes up. Among university professors (the highest grade you can get to in universities over there), just 28% are women... In short, there’s still a lot of work to be done.
