Fun fact

Ever heard of Helen Keller? Born in the United States in 1880, she became deaf and blind when she was just two years old following an illness. Suddenly cut off from the rest of the world, she found herself unable to communicate. Her isolation lasted years until a teacher named Anne Sullivan patiently taught her the alphabet by tracing signs on the palm of her hand. Helen would go on to continue her studies, eventually graduating from Harvard University.
