What does #DreamInDior mean for you?

To me #DreamInDior signifies the realization of a cherished professional goal by becoming a part of the esteemed house of my dreams. It embodies the privilege to contribute to one of the foremost Maison within the world of luxury.

Moreover, #DreamInDior represents the commitment to surpassing one’s personal limits, fears, fostering continuous growth alongside inspiring colleagues and managers who propel you toward your utmost potential. It’s about transcending boundaries and embracing a journey of perpetual elevation.

What amazes you the most in your work?

Teamwork and mutual support are key to ensure smooth operations, a perfectly balanced back-office for a dreamy experience for the client.  The involvement and rigor of the whole team in each of the areas (sales, merchandising, stock, management) is quite remarkable. This working environment pushes me to continuously improve and give the best of myself, in a positive and joyous atmosphere.  What also impresses me in my work is the fact that every action I take has an impact, and my actions contribute to the smooth running of the store. I feel truly involved, truly part of something bigger than me.

How does Dior help you grow on a daily basis?

Working in the retail world is a challenge, and the fact that it's at Dior is a double challenge. We are confronted with specific situations that force us to think and act quickly to offer the most unique experiences to each of our customers.

Working at Dior allows me to develop professionally rapidly, regardless of my age, with significant responsibilities, thanks to my manager who believes in me!  It also allows me to grow by discussing and receiving advice every day from the General Manager, managers and teammates. Dior's culture of excellence encourages me to aim higher and always give my best. Every day, I develop and strengthen my skills in all areas of luxury goods (leather goods, ready-to-wear, jewelry, shoes). I am out of my comfort zone but with kindness, guidance, I learn from my experiences, I make progress everyday.

Who do you rely on when you face challenges and why?

I'm fortunate to have a strong relationship with my manager Camille Schwob which is based on trust and exchange. She's the first person I turn to when I'm confronted with a challenge or difficulty. Her expertise and attentiveness help me to flourish in my work. Camille perfectly understands the challenges and expectations of a work-study program.  I can also rely on all my colleagues if I need help. I'm thinking in particular of Kevin Poleyn who taught me everything there is to know about operational stock management or also Eva Maillot who showed me with patience and kindness how to put harmony between the front office and the back office.

What did you learn from these challenges?

I've learned to work as part of a team. That every action I take is important. Each person is important to the store's performance and success. I've also learned to manage my stress in the face of difficulties. But above all, I learned that every day is a new day for learning and self improvement.

Last but not least, communication is essential in a team for the relationship between colleagues, productivity and the smooth running of the workplace.

How do you or your team celebrate success & milestones?

We take time to have a meeting to discuss it. It is important to notice and reward good actions. We congratulate each other with kind words and appreciation. The most important thing for me is that my superiors acknowledge my dedication to work and provide recognition.
