  Annual Emerging Agronomy Camp - snapshots of Eurofins Kalyx teams from Australia and New Zealand

  🌾Eurofins | Kalyx, active in Australia and New Zealand as part of the Eurofins Agroscience Services network, were excited to host their annual Emerging Agronomy Camp! This 5-day programme is designed to fast track the development of their Graduate Research Agronomists across the region. Participants combine classroom based technical learning with hands on field visits and trial assessments. Beyond the scientific and practical insight, it gives participants the chance to connect with peers, senior leaders, and clients – strengthening their understanding of what it means to test for life and the impact it has on the wider industry. 📸 Swipe through to explore some highlights from the camp!   🌊 Winter fieldwork in the North Sea - a snapshot from our teams in the Netherlands!

  🌊 Teams from Eurofins AquaSense, a Eurofins Environment Testing company in the Netherlands, recently completed two intensive winter fieldwork weeks in the North Sea. On behalf of Rijkswaterstaat and in close collaboration with Waardenburg Ecology, and the NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, experts collected seabed samples in and around designated sand extraction areas. These surveys support a long-term programme that monitors how marine ecosystems recover after sand is removed for coastal and infrastructure projects. 📸 Discover the team behind the work and some of the samples collected during the campaign. Species caught on board were identified, measured and released, providing rapid insight into local seabed conditions. For further insight into the small benthic organisms, underwater soil samples were collected for detailed laboratory analysis. 🪸 Here’s to our teams for their part in a productive mission contributing to a better understanding of seabed ecology and the importance of cleaner and safer oceans.

  My Job at Eurofins - Production Manager and Laboratory Technician in Sweden

  🌍 Meet Fanny Karlsson, Production Manager, and Tom Blomberg, Laboratory Technician at the PFAS Competence Centre in Lidköping, Sweden.  They share what a typical day looks like in their laboratory, where they analyse per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a group of persistent chemicals using advanced techniques and strong scientific expertise. Every day their work helps create a safer, healthier planet.

  Abir Verlut has embraced our mission of Testing for Life

  Since joining the Eurofins network, Abir Verlut has embraced our mission of Testing for Life – from her start in our historic site in Nantes as part of the IT Solutions team to a Sub-Business Unit Manager role in Microbiology, she graduated to a Business Unit Manager role at Lanagram in the southern part of France. Her secret? “The Eurofins network offers everyone an opportunity to excel. Simply raise your hand, and the opportunities will arise.” 🍊 Following such an inspiring journey, Abir was met with an exciting new role in one of our laboratories outside of France. She now leads our Food Testing laboratories in lively Romania as our National Business Line Leader, with her family by her side: ”This was not only a career decision, but truly a family project. We were excited to embark on this adventure, together.   🥽 What can you expect from a laboratory immersion day in our network?

  Our teams from the Eurofins network in Germany, welcomed 14 university students for a day of hands-on learning and exploration. From lectures on lean management and capacity planning to a deep dive into quality management and laboratory processes with our experts, students got a behind-the-scenes look at what it means to test for life. To top it off, these future professionals learned more about our career opportunities and how they can join us in creating a safer, healthier planet – one test at a time.
